SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., December 13, 2016 – ClearScale, an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, Service Delivery Partner, and leading cloud systems integrator, has attained six new APN Service Delivery Program specializations: Amazon Aurora, Amazon Redshift, Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon EMR.

The AWS Service Delivery Program showcases APN partners who have proven expertise delivering specific AWS services, allowing them to differentiate themselves in the marketplace and highlight areas of specialization to AWS customers. Qualification for the program requires passing service-specific verification of customer references and a technical review on behalf of AWS, affording customers confidence that they are working with AWS partners who can offer the most up-to-date and relevant cloud solutions.

The Amazon Aurora service is awarded to partners who deliver Amazon Aurora, a MySQL-compatible relational database engine that combines the speed and availability of high-end commercial databases with the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of open-source databases. Aurora provides up to five times better performance than MySQL, with the security, availability, and reliability of a commercial database at one tenth the cost. Amazon Aurora partners deliver new Aurora implementations, migrate AWS customers to Amazon Aurora, or build tools compatible with Amazon Aurora, all with the performance, security, compatibility, scalability, and durability customers look for in AWS Cloud solutions.

Amazon Redshift Partners provide tools and services that make it easy to load, transform, and visualize data with assured speed, simplicity, elasticity, security, and compatibility. With a petabyte-scale data warehouse that makes it simple to analyze all of a customer’s data using their existing business intelligence tools, Redshift is fast and cost-effective data warehousing.

The RDS for PostgreSQL service highlights APN Partners who provide services or solutions for Amazon RDS PostgreSQL, a service that manages complex and time-consuming administrative tasks such as PostgreSQL software installation and upgrades, storage management, replication for high availability and read throughput, and backups for disaster recovery. With Amazon RDS, customers can deploy scalable PostgreSQL deployments in minutes with cost-efficient and resizable hardware capacity, as well as access the capabilities of a familiar PostgreSQL database engine. This means that the code, applications, and tools customers already use today with their existing databases can be used with Amazon RDS. Amazon RDS PostgreSQL partners deliver new implementations, migrate AWS customers to Amazon RDS PostgreSQL, or build tools compatible with Amazon RDS PostgreSQL.

Amazon Kinesis Partners help customers deploy Amazon Kinesis, a platform for streaming data on AWS. This service offers powerful solutions for loading and analyzing streaming data, and also provides the ability to build custom streaming data applications for specialized needs. Amazon Kinesis services allow customers to easily collect, store, and process large amounts of streaming data generated by web applications, mobile devices, and many other software applications and services, all at a low cost.

The Amazon DynamoDB service highlights partners who help customers deploy Amazon DynamoDB, a fast and flexible NoSQL database service for all applications that need consistent, single-digit millisecond latency at any scale. It is a fully managed cloud database and supports both document and key-value store models. Its flexible data model and reliable performance make it a great fit for mobile, web, gaming, ad tech, IoT, and many other applications, and customers pay only for the throughput and storage they need.

Amazon EMR Partners help customers build and deploy Big Data analytics applications using Amazon EMR, a managed service that makes it easy to run and scale Big Data frameworks such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, Presto, Hive, and HBase. Amazon EMR provides a managed Hadoop framework that makes it easy, fast, and cost-effective to process vast amounts of data across dynamically scalable Amazon EC2 instances. Amazon EMR securely and reliably handles a broad set of Big Data use cases, including log analysis, web indexing, data transformations (ETL), machine learning, financial analysis, scientific simulation, and bioinformatics.
