Marketing Manager

**This is a REMOTE-BASED role. Must reside in NY/NJ.**

Marketing Manager Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and executing ClearScale’s marketing strategy and driving lead generating activities. Creating plans and independently leading marketing campaigns, events and evaluating marketing performance metrics to improve ROI. Maintaining positive and productive relationships with ClearScale’s partners.


  • Generates Leads via Content Marketing, Campaigns, Events, Lead Nurturing and more
  • Manages and executes marketing projects
  • Plans customer and partner events
  • Creates and Manages Newsletters
  • Creates and coordinates marketing campaigns
  • Builds Lead Magnets, Gated Assets
  • Analyzes Campaign and Event data to Track and Increase ROI
  • Tracks internal/external marketing requests and deadlines
  • Documents All Marketing Activity and Reports weekly, monthly
  • Ensures strict adherence to project deadlines
  • Makes independent decisions on the best marketing practices
  • Coordinates internal projects teams
  • Plans and coordinates company webinars
  • Assists with content marketing such as developing joint messaging, briefs, and presentations
  • Suggests improvements to processes to optimize performance and value
  • Assists with development of partner facing marketing collateral and documentation
  • Manages third party contractors and related tasks
  • Supports the sales team with marketing materials and campaigns
  • Gathers and analyzes information/metrics from sales for ongoing and new marketing initiatives
  • SEO and marketing analytics tracking and reporting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Lead Generation Expertise
  • Knowledge of SEO and CRO
  • Expert knowledge with current online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
  • Understanding of Google Analytics to track performance
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Landing Pages, Gated Assets, Microsites, Social Media
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with a self-starter attitude
  • Team player that shifts easily from leading on one project to supporting others
  • Analytical and creative thinking with a desire to seek more knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use Adobe products, including Acrobat and Photoshop for ad creation, image editing, etc
  • Must be self-directed, disciplined, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to collaborate and work under pressure in a fast-paced organization
  • Excellent organization and project management skills (calendars, deadlines, vendor/agency management, budgets)
  • High-level understanding of cloud, infrastructure, and Enterprise IT solutions. Strong team player who can build strong working relationships, collaborate effectively across multiple levels of leadership and stakeholder groups including product, marketing, and sales teams


  • 5+ years experience in enterprise B-to-B technology marketing in various roles of increasing responsibility


  • Experience working with AWS, Azure, Intel, or Google
  • Bachelors degree in relevant field
