Product Manager

**Remote-based Role; MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN ARIZONA**

ClearScale is looking for a Product Owner/Business Analyst to drive roadmap, maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the development team. Sample product - a SaaS-based platform which provides residency and fellowship matching services to specialties and sub-specialties across the spectrum of medicine. You will be asked to gain a deep understanding of industry domain and key business metrics to generate new product ideas. This position will work cooperatively with business stakeholders and engineering team as well as sales. Expect a high degree of independence and excellent communication skills. 

Product Owner Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of industry domain, user experience and key business drivers of SaaS-based product to generate new product ideas for improving customer experience and driving growth
  • Manage and drive product roadmap by analyzing business requirements, customer-oriented and business-focus metrics, competitor studies and recent trends in Match programs
  • Tightly collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering team to support agile product delivery by contributing to sprint and release cycles
  • Own and manage product backlog by defining user stories, prioritizing product features, reviewing test case development and architecture design
  • Monitor availability of new technology and software applications to develop new data tools that will enhance the matching experience
  • Drive sales activities by creating and communicating new product visions and designs to business stakeholders
  • Study existing papers and reports to evaluate trends in applicant and program matching process
  • Lead meetings with business stakeholders to present sprint deliverables and discuss further requirements and feedback
  • Follow, maintain, and improve product documentation
  • Serve as Product Owner of an Agile/Scrum team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science, engineering, or business
  • 4+ Experience working as the Product owner/business analyst of SaaS product (preferably related to matching process)
  • Experience in data-driven product management by analyzing and building various product metrics
  • Skilled in Agile/SCRUM methodologies and experience in leading complex projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Understanding of web concepts and technologies
  • Excellent customer service skills, experience to present and handle product discussion with different stakeholders
  • Self-starter attitude, with an ability to remain focused in a dynamic environment while maintaining a strong commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and focus on the customer
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
